What a joke parked were it shouldn't have been, in the Melrose parking garage her car was right next to mine. Neither one of us live there and she gets towed and I do not. First thing thats messed up but im happy I saved some money.
Pick the car up from like Gopher Towing 239 dollars 25 dollar storage fee, car wasn't there more then 45 minutes. We go in to the building and the guy comes over the intercom saying i'll be right down. Well 15 minutes later he finnally comes down the stairs to the window to help us explaining the car "stolen" she has owned the car for over a year.
(1988 honda accord sedan 4 dr tan)
The vin number was ran as common practice and it came back as a 1988 honda accord 2dr cream color. So here come the cops walking in the door Guy behind the counter plays it off and says I just have to ask this officer a question quick as the other officer keaps an eye on us. We are getting questioned by one officer while the other one is running the vin and plates on the car. The officer checking out the car came back and said the same thing about the car being a cream 2dr, chewed the girlfriend out saying the car has been stolen somewhere along the line this and that laura needs to get it straightend out. Both officers just basically up and leave saying that was all and they gave the car back like nothing ever happend.
I get home and ran the vin on carfax and the car comes up as an 1988 honda accord 4dr sedan. So who f'ed up?

Some people need something better to do in their life than worry if a 1988 accord was stolen or not. It is a fucking $400 car, who cares? Sorry man, that sucks.

Even if it was stolen, they wouldn't do anything about it. I had a car stolen from right in front of my house, found it in the city impound lot (stripped), then figured out who did it (cool story, actually!), and called the cops on this whole chop-shop operation I had found (still know the address, if anyone wants to go lay some smack down!), and they did all of....

NOTHING! So yea, forgetaboutit. Heck, steal her a newer car from someone else, it's not like you'll get in trouble for it. ;)

Well Laura found the title for her car, oh yeah vin on the title and the vin on the car are 100% differnt. So hell of a good chance its stolen, she wont be able to sell it now but I think its kinda funny and shes all in a panic.

You think that's bad, I had my car towed out at the U a few years back because I was parked where I shouldn't have been. I was with my friend so we went to his apt to find out where my car was at. In the 15 mins we were there, his car was also towed (again parked where it shouldn't have been). The worst part about it is we had just stopped at his car on the way in to throw our stuff in it! So we went back and called to see where his car was and sure enough it was on the truck on it's way to gopher. Stupid Stupid Stupid.
