It's finally time again to rallycross!

Join us for the first event of the 2005 SCCA LOL rallycross
series: "Treadin' on Thin Ice"

February 13th at the Donavan Farm in Rochester Minnesota.

It will be a good time on the snow and ice mix! The name for the
event has been used I believe for a while but with the 1/8-1/4 inch
of ice underneath the 2-3 inches of snow, the name is pretty literal.
We will have a grill provided: so bring your own hotdogs or brats
(easier food to cook and eat in the winter than hamburgers). We will
also provide hotdog buns, ketsup and mustard and the sort. I have a
friend who will vollunteer to be the grillmaster for the day.

I would love to attend if I wasn't down in Ames. You'll have to get someone to take some good pictures!

You don't have any beaters laying around?

BTW, there's a rallycross event tomorrow up in Lindstrom, MN (just east of Stacy I believe). It starts at around 9am and costs $40. I can get more details if anyone is interested.

It's a blast!!!

They are still trying to determine whether or not this one will be run. With the warm temps this past week they are worried about how well the ground will hold up. It looks like the temps are going to get cold again so everything should be good. We'll see as the week progresses. I'll keep you posted as the date gets closer.
