track day/car show in june/july

Hello,

I may be setting up an event at Mid America Motorplex for this summer. Kind of a "tuner" meet.

The place (MAM) is just south of Omaha, NE (may be a touch too far for some of you guys). but they have an 1/8th mile strip AND a 2.23 mile ROAD COURSE!!!

The date is not yet set but in the next week or two it will be finalized. I would love for some of you guys to make it down!

Redefined Rides may be sponsoring a car show/track day at mid america motorplex in glenwood IA (close to omaha nebraska) the weekend of July 9th and 10th...

We are encouraging all tuners to come to it and compete on the drag strip... or ROAD COURSE!!..... also in the car show.

additionally i would like avengers, eclipses, talons to make as big as possible presence to show them what we are all about!

Looks like its about (375.3 miles Approximate Travel Time: 7 hours 36 mins) from Bloomington, MN.

Sorry for all the mess with this. Scheduling a date turned out to be a bit more tricky than I had anticipated. Due to other events that are around that same time frame.

We have now nailed down a date for sure. August 6th and 7th. One week before the DSM shootout.

Here is a rundown of the schedule of events for that weekend. Sat. Aug. 6th we will have drag races mixed in with locals for "test and tune" unless we have a large enough turn out... (I am guessing that wont be a problem) Then we get the track to ourselfs for 2 or 3 hours.

After the racing fun will be the car show, still on saturday. Sunday will be for those who want to stick around and see if they can take turns at speed on the road course.

We will be getting sponsors for the event to give out prizes for different classes in each of the events. Stay tuned for a listing of prizes and pricing info.
