I lost my Autometer EGT adaptor that goes from the probe to the nut (welded in nut from QPR). Threads on both sides. I belive the one going into the exh man is 1/8 pipe thread. Anyone know where i can pick one up or do i need to order a whole knew autometer setup (some place SHOULD have what im lookin for).

QPR should have a few of them unless they used all the ones I left there. I wouldn't know where they woudl be other than the bins but I know I left alot of those autometer fittings there. At least 2 or 3 sets with the little pressure fittings.

If your talking about that brass shit.

You better check in your tool box cracker, I don't have any in the bins. It is 1/8th NPT, if you don't find the fitting you need, I can make you one when I get out of the hospital, just let me know. It is a pretty simple thing to create, a drill, tap, and 1/8th pipe plug are all you need along with a little set screw.

Just lose the autometer probe and get a TRE probe (its male npt so wont need another fitting), the autometer probe is so slow it makes the gauge basically useless anyway ;)

I've used Autometer probes, Greddy Probes, and a TRE Probe. Never any noticable differance with them. And yes I do mean during operational movement.

Or just ditch the whole EGT thing altogether. My Autometer probe is acting up already after 4 months. Plus with a wideband like I have, I don't even pay attention to it except for the occasional time when I want to tune for cruising RPMs.

Anyways, if you got me a plug for the hole that would be in my manifold, I would give you the probe and part if you were interested. Mike did my EGT so whatever would be required to plug it back up.

I have heard good remarks on the TRE probe but we will see. Right now i have it pluged up with a 1/8 plug. I won't be back in MN for some time most likly but ill figure it out. Thanks.
