Well Im not going to get into an arguement about Matt. I know what he told me and thats that. He disclosed alot of the history on his own behalf so I would buy it. I could careless about his piddly T25 compaired to the amount of money I had to put into the damn thing. When trying to sell it I had a buyer take it to Mitsubishi and they quoted him 1300 to fix the car. I'd get both side of the story before you make judgement on who is lieing or not.

The guy that owns it is living in Iowa City. Its in good hands now.

Iowa has a alright engineering program. I am currently enrolled in the Mechical engineering program. Its definatly not as good as Iowa State but its the size that I liked. Intern ships are much easier to get in the end of your freshman and sophmore year as to later at Iowa State. I really don't like the program at Iowa and will be either changing my major or changing schools.

Welcome to the site. The pic of that beast looks sweet as fuck! I still love that color.

The car was a good ride and made some good power while Nash had it. Hope the new owner is able to do the same.

I strongly beg to differ in regards to finding an internship during your freshman or sophomore year. I am still under a sophomore classification and secured my second internship roughly 6 weeks ago now, which will take place this coming Summer. I just wrapped up a seven month internship which I secured by late Fall '03. IMHO, as long as you have a GPA of at least 3.0, someone saying that he/she can not find an internship is not valid. They are out there, some easier to find that others, but can be found. I would strongly recommend placing your resume on monster.com. Are you considering transferring to ISU to remain in engineering? If so, have you ever looked at the Power & Machinery end of Agricultural Engineering? That is what I am in and it carries a curriculum with it that is very similar to that of your standard Mechanical Engineering curriculum. There is one exception to that though, the Ag Engineering area is a much more hands-on learning experiences, which is why employers love us. With the major I am in, I can walk into the majority of mechanical engineering interviews and stand right with the actual mechanical engineers. A number of people think you have to come from a farm or agricultural background to be an Agricultural Engineering major which is nothing but false. There are a number of students in the Ag Engineering Dept. here at ISU that do not come from a farm or agricultural background but really liked what they saw in our program. Feel free to PM me if you have any questions.

Welcome to the site, the old GST looks pretty nice in that pic.

As for accusations etc, keep it to PM, no reason to try and make someone look bad in a public thread, shows no class at all.
