Ladies, Gentleman, and Tom
Here are your ticker highlights from beautiful Frogtown Saint Paul, at the Minnesota Amateur Poker All Stars

The Players:
Raptor
Swanny (NiteRydr)
John LC
Matt D
Joe H (JustROLLIN)
and myself

The Game:
No Limit Texas Holdem'
Money hands (change)

Highlights:
Joe Harvieux starts talking his normal shit, daring everyone to play in the dark. Tall tales of HUGE action, with pocket this and pocket that, catching a boat on the flop. "It's SO much fun", "don't be a pussy."

What a bitch.

Josh "swanny" "motormouth" Swanberg also challenges the table to an "In the Dark" hand. For those of you who don't know, an "In the Dark" hand would be when a player choses not to look at his "pocket" or down cards until a certain point, and in this case, the "turn" or 4th card, known as "4th Street"

Rollin Joe and the Asian one both agree, and the hand is on. A raise pre-flop by Mike "Raptor" Thomas puts everyone in for a raise of 50 cents, blinds at 5 and 10 cents. Calls all around, community pot.

The Flop:
J 2 J

after some useless flirting, everyone is in for another 50 cents.

The Turn:
8

At this point, all players look at their cards. After some meager raises, JDM pushes all in with $4.75. Folds all around except Swanny.

A call by swanny.

Both eager players show their pockets.

KK KK

We both caught pocket kings! Un-Fucking-Believable!

The better part...

John folds 66 and Joe Catches 88, and Raptor folds the "boat" or "Full house"!

After all that shit talking, Joe H is right.

He's still a bitch ;)

Later in the evening, Motormouth dares again, and on the last hand, Swanberg playing blind, catches one of the best hands in poker, a diamond strait flush. The cards tonight were ON FIRE! Play if you dare with the QPR ladies...

Well that's all for tonight, but until next time...

(insert catchy exit phrase here)

Your a little off on your memory Kyle, the flop came 2,J,2 I held one jack, I had two pair when I folded against all the high raising figuring you dicks had your high pocket pairs. I was right, expecting the jack to make my boat on the river would have been stupid, profitable in this case, but still stupid. But definately come out and play any time your money is always welcome. For those who don't think change is worth playing for, again there plenty of hands that were raised 5-6 bucks a round and called, $40 pots are not really that uncommon. And last night between the 5 people in, there was an easy $300 in change at the table up for grabs.

Yeah Raptor, thats true. I can recall a few $20 dollar change pots last night as well as many ~$10 pots.
