Poker 2 days this next weekend. Tourney and change.

Okay, I figure if I give you people a week and some options, we should have a pretty decent showing. So, on Friday, the 31'st at 8:00 we will have a poker night and Saturday the 1st the same thing. The choice comes like this. I think one night we could do a tournament style thing say with a $20 buy in and the other night, play for change. Question is, which night would the people who might come want to do each? I need input! If you are planning on showing, let me know as well in this thread so we can make sure we have enough chairs chips etc. People can bring whatever they want to drink as long as no one gets more stupid than Swanny (not likely). I am thinking maybe we could do some sort of "bad beat" type jackpot as well, any ideas are welcome.

So respond and lets plan a decent one to start the year off!

I think the tourney would make more sense on new years eve, and change the next day. I wouldn't play the tourney, but i'd probably come for the change game. I'm pretty busy Friday night with other stuff too, which I assume will be the case for most?

I (or we) will be there probably for both days. We will have our set of chips with us. A change game on friday would make more sense being that those who are out celebrating can show up later and still get in on the action. Either way is fine with me though.

I should have put up a poll for this. At any rate, I am sure there will be more people to chime in on this as well. It doesn't matter to me either way, we could even do change both days or tourneys both days, I am open either way. I think maybe the change on New Years eve makes sense like mentioned because people would be probably showing up and leaving at all hours so I am leaning toward that now. The tourney should maybe be Saturday and start at 8 or 9. Keep coming with the ideas, I want a lot of people to show so it is a good time.
