Exactly my point, how do people get such strong dedication to professional teams? I can understand high school and college since you actually know the players and live within a few miles of them...
That doesn't make sense, though... The team is branded as Minnesota, not the individual players. Not all college players are even from the same state. It's all about being dedicated to the home team, I don't know how else to explain it.

Just because a Japanese product is branded "super fantastic awsome" doesn't mean it really is. Don't be a victim of marketing hype.

The Vikes are 10 miles down the road from me, why not support them so I can go watch pro football if I want to?

Most of us were raised to be a vikes fan (watching dad or grandpa), so we were trained from a young age to hate cheese heads :D

I agree with JET. Im a vikes fan because they're local. The Vikes have a big fan base here because they're based here. The away games are always televised and you can go see the home games. They also bring in a lot of money locally.
