Just had all 4 of mine out yesterday afternoon. They put me out so it was ok.
Sucks but atleast its over, sat in bed all night and day today, feel like crap. Soft foods suck, I want pizza haha.
I like Valium though :)
LOL, I haven't had to have mine out and probably never will.

I have two of mine coming in sideways but I've been dealing with the pain as I hate dentists.
Where did you have yours removed Peter?

where any of your wisdom teeth impacted at all? That is definately some of the worst pain since pain came to paintown.
I only had 3, and they were removed about 5 years ago. They were all impacted, if I remember correctly. I couldn't eat for almost 2 weeks, not even liquids. Sucked big time!

Ehh, I was fine. My biggest problem was getting the bleeding to stop. I wasn't holding the guaze in there right. After that quit I was back to normal.

Mine came out fine, the bleeding was a little annoying. About a half an hour after the operation I was out working on my car......when they told me to rest. haha

The bottom two were pointed directly towar the front of my mouth. The top two where coming in normal but sorta outwards. btw the meds they gave me was not valium it was vicanin haha(no pain at all and I didnt take close to ful dose).
It wasnt too bad actually and the pain was pretty minimal, the drugs and anethesia just keep you from doing anything the rest of the day. Some people get side effects from the anesthesia but I didnt really have any, but sleepynes..
Today I feel alot better and the bleeding is starting sto sop here and there. Depending on what you eat. I did eat some famous daves that was brouight home, just very carefully, as you pretty much just swallow things whole or else things can get stuck in the wounds.
It doesnt really feel like my teeth are even removed. Just like a little flatter then it was.
Brian- the place was "Oral & Maxillofacial Surgical Consultants." They have 4 locations and my brother also get it done there and it went fine.
I was actually quite nervous about it, but I made it and it was muchg easier than I thought. Gave me gas and then stuck the IV in (which I didnt look at) and I was gone. Woke up what seemed like 2 minutes later and I went home to sleep some more.

I only had two wisdom teeth and they were removed w/4 other teeth before I got braces, but now that i think about it, I wonder if I needed those other 4 teeth...whatever, my teeth are perfect now so I can't complain. As for the surgery, I don't remember a thing, just sitting down in the chair and then the doctor and my mom trying to carry me out the back door when it was done, I was so doped up I couldn't walk.
