I have a 94 talon tsi 5spd turbo and here is my logger question.

I have a logger cable where instead of it just clipping into the diagnostic port it has 3 wires (red, black, green) they have male spade connectors at the end and they just slide right onto the female end of the port. I do not have directions nor can i find any info on where which wire should be placed. Has anyone used this style cable before and if so do you know where to hook up thos wires too? thank you in advance.

This is how mine works
1) Locate the 3 plugs (Disregard the plug colors). Notice how one wire has only 1 plug and the other wire has 2 plugs.
2) Locate the diagnostic port in the lower driver side panel. It is right by the fusebox.

--------------
1 | Pin 1 is the very top left pin
| | Pin 10 Is on the lower right side along with pin 12
| | Remember to skip Pin 11!!!!!!!
| |
| 10 |
| |
| 12 |
--------------

Locate the single wire with 2 connectors, The plugs go into Pin 10 and 12 , It does not matter which of the 2 plugs go into which pin.

Locate the Single wire with 1 connector; this plug goes into pin 1.

Make sure the connectors are in tightly.
