I really have been wantign to make a better push and get more member from some of the other midwest states on here. I have also been thinking seeing if getting another shop on here from a few differant states to help with those local would be decent move. Like a shop from WI, IL, and IA.

We have MN covered. Great members (I'm partial and will say the greatest DSMers around in my opinion) and Great shops already support MN. But I truely want this site to be "The Best In The Midwest". I want this to be the place people in the surrounding states can go to not only hang out, but get some good info as well. I don't want it too big, but I think we can handle a bit bigger.

How about some opinions from others?

I think it would be great if we could get EngineTecs as a site sponsor. I believe that Vassil and Jacek are both good friends with Mitch. I believe I saw that he registered on here a while back under 'Suprata' which is the same screen name he uses on Tuners. He is a Wiseman on Tuners and has put up a lot of good information.

Like I also mentioned last night, around Waterloo there is Import Evolution and Redefined Rides. Also out of the Des Moines area is Final Drive Performance. Anyone that checks the Trader on a regular basis will probably notice their consistent ads on there. I believe Final Drive Performance is a sponsor of Dragsource.com.

I think it's a great idea.

Does anyone here have recommend shops for WI & IL? Mabye even the Dakota's?

Along with EngineTecs, AMS would also be a great shop to have from Illinois.

Sounds like a cool idea to me.

My friend owns Anderson High Performance here in Eau Claire, but I think he might be getting out of DSMs to concentrate on turbo mustangs...I'll find out for sure.

We have talked to AHP before, and he never showed any real intrest of supporting the site.

When me and Reid were in Eau Claire last month we swung by what used to be AHP's shop....it is no longer AHP's shop.

Ya, he just had a kid and couldn't really afford the building anymore, he just works out of his garage now until he figures out what he wants to do for sure.
