Ex Pantera guitarist DimeBag Darell shot dead

I heard about this last night and I recognized the name but not the band and couldn't put 2 and 2 together to realize who it was. As soon as I saw the word Pantera it all clicked.

That fucking sucks. didn't 5 people get killed before the police where able to shoot the guy?

Also killed were Erin Halk, 29, a club employee who loaded band equipment; fan Nathan Bray, 23; and Jeff Thompson, 40.

Dimebag was really one of the greatest guitarists out there. I cant believe this happened.

Definately this sucks. There were 4 killed by the gunman then a single cop within one minute of the call came in assesed the scene and took out the gunman. This could have been much worse even, gotta give the lone officer props for saving the rest of Damage Plan and 200 potential other victems. Incredible loss to the metal world and it just doesn't seem real still.

Yeah, supposedly he thought that they had stole his lyric's for a song. Raptor heard the full scoop. It just sounded like he was a nut case.

Yea he claimed they stole his lyrics and blamed him for the breakup of Pantera... which he didnt like so I guess thats a good reason to shoot him?
