You should ditch it and get a p-p-p-powerbook!

macs = complete waste of money for yuppies with low self esteem.
The worst comment someone can make is "My mac is better then your PC anyday"
PC>MAC Linux <= Windows (until i can be able to play CS on linux or get the bugs out of the damn OS)

Wow Tom, that was quite an intelligent post.
Let's try to stay on topic.

I was just thinking, maybe the memory is bad. Similar things would happen when someone would try to install the new OS on an old ass iMac and the install messed up the memory. It may be worth it to buy a new stick of memory and give it a shot.

Okay, try this. Unplug the computer from the wall for a few minutes and then try to start it. If nothing, unplug the power supply from the main board for a few minutes and then try to power up. Also re-set the pram, can't remember how at the moment. It sounds really wierd but thats what my friend told me based on the info I had.
If you haven't already, go to mac's site, suport area and look up your particular G4 and there'll be trouble shooting info. Hope this helps.
And according to Tom, pretty much all recording studios and video production houses have low self esteem

Yeah I mentioned how to reset the pram in my post, otherwise check the battery on the mobo, sometimes when those die you can't start up I think.
