But I hate watching over my back for the security dinks, much less actual cops.
I went on a ride along with the maplewood cops when i was in highschool. the cop i was with was probably the coolest cop ever. it had just snowed and we went into the maplewood mall parking lot and we spun around for a while. he said they do that all the time on slow nights.

me and Swany went for some drifting with a tow dolly on the back of my truck :) that thing was whizing left and right :) and then we got into his 3s and did some awd shitties :)

Then on the way back from apt i put it 4x4 and tried to do some power slides thru the corners.. and HOLY CHIT it was fun going sideways in a 3/4 ton truck :)

Woah. Had a close call today. I was on Pioneer trail going through Eden Prairie, and there's a spot where you come up over a crest, then the road goes down hill with a left about 30 yards away at the bottom. Well I go over the crest, slow down for the turn, and the car goes straight. Did I mention there's a guard rail on the outside of this corner. It doesn't look like I'm going to make the turn or slow down enough to not hit the guard rail and I panic. Then I quickly settle down, crank the wheel to the left, feather the gas, and I powerslide through it. This all happened in about 5 seconds at 35 - 40 mph. I never really got too close to the guardrail, I just barely got onto the shoulder. But it's that realization when the cars going somewhere you don't want it to, or it's not doing what you tell it to, and you get that image that flashes through you're mind of you standing next to your car with a wrinkled fender and a broken headlight that kind of gets your heart rate going. And you wonder how you're going to explain it to your insurance agent. Then instinct takes over, and you either do the right thing and keep driving, or get it wrong, and wait for tow truck. I got it right this time.

Moral of the story... Playing in snow covered parking lots is good for your wallet. :D

We took Janas car out for a bit today. I love AWD. When you have a VW behind you just limping along while an AWD DSM just moves through the shit.

I am thinking next time there is snow piling up I am hitting my old work up. Their parking lot is good sized, and can't bee seen easily from the road.

I knew normandales parking lot was good for something. Boy the turbo really is loud when your not moving at all. hehe.

I love snow. Everyone takes off from lights so slow.. but awd you can just go its awesome . Braking.. well thats another story. No abs = homemade abs on my car... but hey thats what downshiftings for.

I had some times on the streets and in empty lots up in Duluth last night!! AWD all the way!!

Of all places that should be plowed and have tons of sand put down, you'd think that'd be the place, but I guess due to their budget they'll only plow once over a street every hour of snow or something stupid, so you can imagine how bad the roads were!! Then on my home tonight I counted 7 cars in the ditch, one was rolled over, 2 good accidents, and dozens of tracks leading to the ditch!

There is a synogouge (sp?) near my house (its called adath if you have heard of it) and it is by hopkins high school, they have an overflow parking lot that has no lights, no curbs, tons of cover so it isnt visible from the street, and it is never plowed very well b/c it is the rarely used overflow lot. The only times I have seen it plowed well enough to be used for anything other than "recreation" was when it eventually got like 1' of snow accuumlated in it so it was unusable.
