new to the site. new to DSM's. i've had my TSi for about a week and a half now and today i got rear-ended.

by my girlfriend. in her 350Z.

my car's suprisingly in good shape. the Z is pretty toasted. i just tried to stop for a stoplight thinking she was too far back to make it. she thought i was gonna go so she was on the gas. i guess Z's just don't stop that fast... we both pretty much laughed it off after the fact, but it still sucks. ya know that feeling after something like this where you just think about everything you could have done? oh well..

anyhoo, i suppose i should introduce myself too.. i live in st louis park, i have a 95 TSi AWD, a 94 intregra and a 91 MR2 turbo. the teg is for sale, the MR2's getting a TD06-17c turbo this winter and i'm still not sure about the talon. it's fairly high mileage so the t-belt is first on the agenda, shocks and snow tires are likely next and maybe a 16g in the future. i don't particularly care if i have the fastest car on the road, i just want soemthing that i enjoy driving. if i want speed i'll go rent an F2000 car for a weekend (oh yeah, i went through skip barber racing school about 5 years ago, so i've got a general idea how to haul ass :)) anyhoo, that's my intro/vent. nice to meet everyone!

Welcome! Why a 17C on the MR2? Why not a 18G or 20G? 17C wheel is poopie.

i'm not looking for huge power. i just want something that can pull to redline and is relatively cheap. this upgrade will come in costing less than a CT20b and be capable of more power. as far as compressor maps go, for the boost i plan to run it fits the 3SGTE very well.

not to mention if i ever want more power, i just have to upgrade to a 20g wheel/cover.

yeah, i guess. still though...it's pretty cheap to get a 16G wheel from FP.
but i think you should get a "big brake kit" for your GF's 350Z first:)
