About 45% of a "rich" person's salary goes to taxes while the average middle class person pays about 30-35% of their salary. I really don't see the problem there, the rich are covering more than their fair share; they have worked hard for what they have, I say let them keep it.
A lot of the really rich people don't pay crap for taxes because of all the write off's they have. Their income they claim ends up being lower then most peoples, which is why when people say to tax the rich, it ends up being those of us in the more middle class who end up pickin up the bill. But I am happy Bush won!!!

Just wondering (not accusing or anything), but how many people here on DSMstyle are actually pro-Kerry/Democrat? I've noticed that almost all my car forums are heavily slanted towards Bush.

It's an ego thing. Some people on here need a fast car to make something up, and some don't. Generally people with big egos go republican because they don't like giving more of thier money to other people.

By cuting our military by more than 1/2. Pretty easy to make a surplus when you cut our military budget.
Now Bush is spending major $$$ to rebuild our defences,
Not to mention multi million dollar cleanup costs from 9/11, or the worst stock market crash in history, or bailing out the airline industry, or beefing up homeland security, or fighting a major war on terrorism on multiple fronts.
