View Full Version : Cheapest 1g Awd
so what do you guys think i could get a cheapest 1g awd with good drive train ...
i don't really care about the engine..
i don't care if the body is rusted out..
i just want something i can beat the crap out of in the upcoming winter... and if it survives do some rally / ofroad next year ...

Never fails, everytime I'm in a Target near a college, I see a pretty clean 1g AWD with a zebra fuzzy steering wheel cover, most likely owned by a girl.
I leave notes on some of them seeing if they're interested in selling their cars.
I've gotten responses from probably half of them, and they all tell me way under what the car is worth, usually.
They all tell me they want my car, and offer a trade.
If only I were smart :stick:
**Edit**
But to answer your question, don't you have a shell or two?? Just buy a good tranny.
For what you are looking for, $1000-$2000 With good tranny, motor runs, shitty body....
Just speculation from a guy who keeps his eyes out for something similar.

I almost bought a beat up GSX last fall for $450 but decided just to buy a semi-reliable beater that didn't need any work. Watch the newspapers, every few weeks a killer deal will come along. I think Swanny got that old '90 of his for something like $900 too.
yeh i'm looking for something in the range under 1k

I bought that red one for 900 tax title and license, I 'shook' on 700 but had to settle for 900 cause his boss just sold it out from underneith me.
Raptor also picked up that red one for 800.
They are out there, just look around.

The only problem is you have 1000 other swinging dicks trying to get the same deal. Damn I miss the old days.
