Do the fans turn on with the A/C on? Are you overheating?

He told me the fan for the A/C doesn't turn on either.

check the ralays in the passengers side of the engine bay. Mine went out a while ago. The dealer wants $25 a piece but John's gave them to me for free with a purchase. Is the car overheating? The fans are not always on...

Thermo sensors okay? Everything plugged into the radiator/t-stat housing?
How about the wiring? fuses?

1 good option is to just hardwire them to a switch, I have done it in a couple cars. It is especially handy at the track.

You can pull the plastic cover off the relay, and manually actuate it with your finger. This will quickly narrow down the problem. If nothing happens when you actuate it, the circuit after the relay has a problem. If the fan turns on, then its most likely the circuit before the relay or the relay itself. You can test the relay with an ohmeter across the relay's coil contacts, if its open or has a high resistance, then the relay is bad.

Ok, the fan in front of the turbo turns on when the ac is running. I have replaced the relay once and that didnt do anything. I am just about ready to run the fans off a switch.

The left side fan is tottaly shit. I hardwired some power to it, and nothing. RIght now I am just running the one fan, and that is hardwired to a switch. I am going to pick up another used fan and hardwire that one in too for extra cooling.
