Went to bed at 4am because forcast was rain all day. Woke up to a train at 845am to blue skys. WTF!?
Called the track, they were drying it and would be racing in about an 2 hrs.
Hurried up, packed up car, picked up buddy and was on the road by 10.
Got to the track at 1130am, they just started.
Went to tech, and they put me in the "King of the Hill" class because I said the car runs 12s or faster. The tech guy asked where the nitrous was. I told him I didnt have any, and he replied "This thing runs 12s with no nitrous" I said yes, he asked what year i said 2003. And he gave me a look like I was lying to him.
Anyways, it was funny, he teched my car.
First run at noon, after driving for an hr and half,- lost to a tubbed truck that ran 12.0@108 with a 1.71 60ft

Was about 5 mins away from another run, then it rained. SOO close to a 12.5, hell woulda been low 12s if I could cut a 1.7. I didnt have the skinnies on the back because I was in a hurry, and had the boost turned down to about 20-21 because I was tuning for the map clamp 2 nights ago, never got it installed because of some issues. Now only if I could hold 21 to redline instead of dropping to 15.. AFR was about 11.4-11.5 logged on the laptop.
Well worth the 3 runs and rush to improve my time
