If one bolt is that important to you, you can either tap it to a larger bolt thread, or use a helicoil.

details more or admins will delete it..

one that threads THRU the valve cover into the head, or one that holds the timing belt cover and spins into the valve cover?

same shit either way, the bolt was shitty so i used a new bolt and it went in just fine :) thanks for your advice .. enes, we might be hittin you up for a tow from duluth to burnsville :)

He PM'd me, the ones in the outer edge are probably stripped. For anyone else that has this problem, if I remember right, the inner bolts are 22MM long and the outer are 25MM. The holes are deeper than that and have enough thread to handle another 5MM in length. So 25-27 in the middle and 30MM on the outside will usually solve the issue. The torque spec is 3ft lbs. You can't squish a mosquito in this state with that little pressure. If you are using a cheater bar on your VC bolts, you should take yourself out of the game.
