I got to see Queensryche at the House of Blues in New Olreans last night. They played about 1-2 hrs of their greatest hits, all the way back to the first album.

But the best part was when they played Operation Mindrime from begining to end live with actors on stage. They even had Pamela Moore on stage singing the "sister Mary" parts as she did on the album.

But the greatest part of the evening was when we got to meet the band after the show. Thanks to our producer Paul Speer for the Core9 cd, we got "meet and greet" passes. Paul Speer lives near them in Seattle and they hang out at each others houses. Damn, I should move to Seattle.

And don't think for a second they didn't get away without some final copies of our new cd's in their hands. Whoot, Queensryche is toolin' down the highway listening to Core9, WOW. :bounce:

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

I guess I should have worn my Spice Girls t-shirt instead. hahahahahahaha ;)

By the way, I wore it so they could autograph the back of it, which they all did. :razz2:

Damn, I've been a fan of theirs since way back. That would be awesome to see them live in a smaller venue. I saw them perform the whole Mindcrime CD as well back in 1993 or so, they never missed a note. Where's the guitarist that went off to be a private pilot though?

Chris DeGarmo has his own commercial/private charter company now. I wish he would come back. Mike Stone is ok, but he doesn't fit in with this band in my opinion.

Shit, I forgot to mention they previewd a song off of "Mindcrime II" also. It's due to be out sometime in 2005.
