Very interesting

Yea the S40s are much lighter. Even lighter than a DSM! Around 2700Lbs.

Yeah those things are awesome, a co-worker from a different store has one and it is great looking. Sleeper too, no one would think about it from a four door grocery getter, especially a Volvo.

the 40 uses a turbo called a 14T, but its alot smaller than a 14B...
there is 2 other turbos that are a direct bolt on that volvo uses on their 5 clys , and they make adaptor plates for everything else....

yup, 2700 lbs full of safety crap...i want to find one cheap with airbags blown out and strip it down...partially

seem to be high 13 sec cars with only exhaust, intake, ecu

Sweet video, I've had about four of those things so far. My daily driver right now is a S70 T-5 wagon, turbo and 5-speed. It's a real comfortable family car that handles well and hauls ass if you hit the loud pedal hard enough. Another fun project I'll probably never get to.

its a V70 if its a wagon...but yeah, those T5's have gotta be the best sounding engine i have heard when you hammer it down(and its freakin loud)...for a stock family car at least.

my favorite is the 98, i dunno if ide buy a 99, 00.

the S80 T6 is also very suprising right away, it pulls hard for such a big car

so since the mid 90s volvo has used mitsu turbos as you said right? with a td04 flange? is that the same flange that a 3/s 9b uses?
