Alright, cars been in the garage fer a week. First off, its a 95 talon tsi awd. What happened is the alternator/voltage regulator was overcharging the battery, so I just replaced the alternator. Crazy stuff was happening before I replaced the alternator, like windshield wipers going off, brake lights not working, etc. And now that the alternator is replaced, it's still going on. Could there be a short somewhere? Any help would be great!

It is a 99% chance that your alternator fuse is blown or has a bad connection. I have seen numerous cars act like they are possessed because of this. 2g's are especially bad.

K, I replaced the alternator fuse and that took care of everything except the windshield wipers, they won't turn off. Could I have fried the switch or something?

It is possible that the switch melted closed. Either that or another wire got hot and melted. Then it could be shorting out against that one.
