Anyone out thee know where I can get some info on hooking these up? I met one person who put them together himself, the guy who won best 2g at the cookout. I only want them so I don't have to worry about mounting the coil pack, and they're something not everyone has. Thanks.

I think you're talking about JasonR, I believe he has the Buschur setup.

I was actually just looking at Jason's setup last night. Wow, very clean and definitely a nice setup.

I've heard of this setup before, but can someone fill me in on some info about it?
i don't think COP is neceessary up until you get over 600WHP .. even then i think shane is still using the factory coils.
put the money elsewhere..

Yeah, just mount the coils on the firewall. The stock coils are good to 7,800 rpm, then start tapering off. They are one of the best stock ignition systems made.

If you go back and read the original post, he doesnt want them for performance reasons.

I think jason did gain power with the coil on plug setup. It also quit missing. Um his setup is just a 20g turbo with a built 6 bolt. His tranny is built with the lightest performance option possible. EVERYTHING is done right and nothing is half assed. He has definitly invested more than he should have for 400whp. But yea, the coil on plug wins you credit points when people see it because its very.. unorthadox. I dont know jasons name on here but he is C16sniffer on mnsc. He also runs leaded fuel~

Coil on plug is more trouble then its worth. I run a stock ignition. If he was having misfire problems before then he probably just need some new plug wires or spark plugs. I would rather do 4 coils then coil on plug. The coil on plug on the Evo 8s is terrible, they have major problems around 400hp.
