That Taboo character is pissin me off. I purchased the rear camber kit awhile ago. Well like I said in my other thread, my dad is moving so I need to change the shipping address that he is shipping it to. I've tried emailing the guy to tell him but never do I get a responce. I seem to keep running into shops that never get back to me. I think I'm going to start just sticking with my 2 shops that are great to me and that's it.

Mail-order shops that I have had good business with:
Bushcur
RRE
Dejon
Boost Controller
Summit
Archer
Brookdale Mitsu
Conicelli Mitsu
many many more I'm sure
This doesn't take in to account the shops I've done in-person business with, although I've been to Archer many times, when I do have stuff shipped it arrives generally the next day.
Place I would never do business with again:
TRE!!!
I've been hearing bad things about Taboo ever since they started making products, same goes for Dark Side Racing (do they even exist anymore?).

Once again guys, if you need help with anything Taboo related, let me know and I'll see what I can do. Des Moines is 30 miles down the road from me so if there is any way that I can help, let me know.

OK, well let it be known that I officially want that guy's balls in a jar. It's been 4 months. I don't think I'm ever getting the camber kit since my shipping address has changed, and I can't get ahold of him to change the addy to get it sent to. If you don't mind confronting him since he's close to you, then please do it. I still have the paypal verification number, and that's about all I have, because they don't give you any sort of order number. I've put in a report with the BBB. I'm still working with paypal as they are trying to help me get my money back even though it's been long past the 30 day mark. If anyone else has any advice as to how to get my 77 bux back, please lemme know. I will probably be using my free legal I get here because I've read about this guy ripping so many people off, that I'm ready to break out the brass knuckles.

Once I get back to Ames after break I am going to do some research on Martin Hala. He has taking thousands of dollars from people in the past few months without anyone seeing product in return. Last I heard the phone number for Taboo has been disconnected but hopefully I'll be able to find some other contact information from him. I'll be sure to let you know.
The stock ones are just fine. The thing that kills them is having your clutch out of adjustment. If its poorly adjusted it will cause the fork to pivot on the transmission case rather than the pivot ball. This causes cracks in the aluminum and it will eventually fail. This is what happened to my clutch fork.
Keep your master/slave cylinders in good shape (if the master is leaking or needs excessive adjustment, just replace it) and the stocker will be just fine.

If yours has alot of miles I would agree that it should be replaced just because of the ball wearing into the fork. However I am running my 190k mile OEM clutch fork on an ACT 2900 with a shimmed pivot ball and it works fine but as they say, YMMV ;)
