Some of you know that my Uncle Jim Knudsen was in a very violent accident, causing major brain damage. This occurred last Saturday, and he is still in a coma. The hospital bills are pilling up fast. He's at St Mary's Hospital in Rochester, part of the Mayo Medical Clinic, so he's in good hands.

There will be a benefit ride/cruise for him on the above listed date, and I plan on attending. I don't have a lot of details yet, but it'll cost to come, and it'll be a lot of fun, and you can come in a car or on a bike.

All proceeds go to my Uncle's medical bills. And every single solitary penny counts. We are still up and down with his condition, and we don't know how long the healing process will take.

I will keep you all posted, but I would like to see a lot of you there...

Here is his website:

Thank You for your Support.

Harley Benefit Ride for Jim Knudsen

Time: Meet at 10:30 am, Leave at 11:00 am sharp.
Where: Rochester Harley Davidson, 7180 Hwy 14 east. About 5-7 miles east of Rochester.
I will be leaving from MPLS at 9 am.

Rain, Snow, or Sun. We will ride on this day. Cars are welcome!
Bandana's will be available ahead of time for a small donation towards Jimbo's recovery if anyone wants one. They are printing 144 yellow bandanas that say "It's all about Jimbo" on the front and if you reverse the bandana it will say " Git -R- Done". Both side will have flames on them. Chad Kanz has the map of the route we will be taking on October 10th. I will get it from him and try to post a link to it on this site.
People interested in bandanas can contact Brad Johnson with the numbers below to order ahead of time. Otherwise they will be available on Sunday before and during the ride. If we run out before the ride, more will be ordered.

Well this will now be a memorial ride for my Uncle, as my cousins and grandmother have decided to withdrawl basic life care and support. He has developed Pneumonia, and will pass comfortably on the 9th floor at Saint Mary's Hospital in Rochester.

I know you guys are busy, and I know this is short notice, but it would mean the world if at least some of you show up. Bikes, cars, whatever...

Dude, sorry to hear... I watched my grandpa wither away last year in a nursing home because there was nothing they could do for his ailments. Be strong.

Jim passed away this morning at 9:30, peacefully in bed. He is survived by his mother (my grandmother), 2 brothers, 1 sister (my mother), 3 of his children, and 2 grandchildren, ex-wife (my aunt and godmother) and girlfriend.

Services are in Rochester on Saturday.

There will be 6 or so bikes from MNSC participating in this event, and this event is open to cars. The times have changed a bit for leaving from the cities. We will leave from the McDonalds in Saint Paul at Snelling and Uni at 8:45, NO LATER THAN. PLEASE CALL ME IF YOU ARE COMING. I'm meeting up with the MNSC guys near Rosemount on HWY 52 at the Subway Truck Stop at 9:30 am. The cruise will be an all day event. I will list my number below. Thank you.

Well we had a great turn out. Joe Harvieux and Bob Viau Jr came with me so thank you to them. I also met up with 4 very cool guys from MNSC who rode their bikes down.
