Before I even begin, I just wanted to say 'Thank You' to Shane & the guys @ Elite
for all of their tuning help, service and patience (I cancelled appointments twice)

Dynoed the car yesterday on pump and race gas. We had too many issues with knock on pump gas so I only ran 18lbs of boost on BP Amoco 93 octane Gas. At this boost level with some knock the car made 348.4 HP at the wheels.

Then threw is some VP race gas (C16) and raised the boost another 10lbs (28lbs) and the car put down 451.9 HP and 416 lbs or torque. My plugs were done and we grabed the ones off Shane's car and then Cher snagged some from another DSM, they weren't the greatest but were better than mine. Next time I will be prepared and show up with a few sets. The really cool part is that we reached this power level around 5770rpm

Below you can see both the pump gas (18lbs) and race gas (28lbs) graphs

We found an interesting problem while try trying to tune his car on pump gas at 16-18psi, it's possible some other people might be having a similar problem and think it's phantom knock. Pretty much his car trys to run way too much timing for pump gas at pump gas boost levels.

Sweet, my friend just bought this for his 2.3L gsx... I'll send him this link. He was spoolin his t3/t4 way to fast for his new engine.

The one thing I did forget (as always) is to say Thanx to Jed for letting me use his garage and tools all the time and giving me a hand when sh*t hits the fan.

... and also Jacek for getting dirty with me when we had to pull the Xfer case, driveshaft and real axels :3gears:

Hmm... that makes me weary of the compensations that were made on the EPROM. Unless the timing wasn't set correctly to begin with.

And no need to thank me ;) Just let me know when we have to put a new rear end in there... :fworld:
