They took that car to the track today and ran a 10.76. Which is a new US record for a 3S. There are at least two cars in Japan that have run faster.

Then the car backed it up with a 10.75@135.5 with 35psi, no nitrous.
And a bad 2nd gear syncro.

1st timeslip (http://www.3si.org/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=42316)

Then they got booted from the track, (no cage). All in all good fun.

That link isn't working. I put the back to back timeslips on the web. Its at:
http://home.comcast.net/~curtgendron/8-31-...1-timeslips.jpg (http://home.comcast.net/~curtgendron/8-31-timeslips.jpg)

That is an awesome time considering its almost full weight. Probably around 3800 lbs with the driver.

later,
Curt

Produced and assembled in Japan.
The stealths were shipped over 'naked' and body parts were put on at another plant (canada, illinois?)
