Another shoot out I can't make because my girlfriend has friends that are getting married. Three fucking years in a row! It takes a lot to work me up, but this shit makes my blood boil. FUCK

Just for laughs...Here is my email/whiny/hopeless attempt to Melissa about the Shootout earlier today.

Hun, I will be out of town from the 11th to the 15th of August 2005 for the 13th annual DSM Shootout. Let me know if this conflicts with anything we have going on next year. I hope it doesn't. :-) I keep having to miss this every year, please let me know ASAP as I need to reserve rooms soon.

hopefully i'll be able to make it there, the AWD swap on the spyder should be done and all perfect by then, anyone know if that is "no allowed" to run cause its not a visual mod? if it is i'm gunna be pissed!

What do you mean? You can't run in a FWD class, but otherwise I don't see why it would be a problem in any class.

I've wanted to go to this since I first got into DSM's - but typically for me that month is just doesn't work. Maybe this year will be different. But I won't know till the time comes around so I won't even bother saying one way or the other.
