Ok, this is kind of frustrating..
what it all started was the 11k 95 gsx for sale.. i know it has mods.. and i am not focusing on just that one.. there are others that are doing the same thing..
a 9 year old car trying to sell it for twice the KBB and whats even worse some of them don't even run any more and are still trying to get that much money out of them..
Now, if i was to sell mine i couldn't get that much even tho its a 99 a 5 year old instead of 9 years..
just because of the potential? hmm. ok..
:goodluck:

I was thinking the same thing but didn't want to whore up the thread but since you are bitching so will I, this will get trashed anyway.
Here is the deal:
You have a car that has a walked motor, the car without the mods is worth 2000 or 3000 dollars tops. You factor in the mods which adding it all up is about 2000 or 3000 dollars tops. The selling price should be no more than 5000 in my book depending on the miles and overall condition of the car.
He would be better off parting the car out, he would make more money as parts than as a whole car. People have to realize that in most cases when you mod a car and sell it with the mods on it you are going to lose your ass usually. Thats why there is a abundance of parts sold all over when people are getting out of their hobbies.

Just post your up for sale for $18,000. Neither of you will get what your asking and all will be good.

I'd go 20, might as well increase the profit margin.

i made him an offer he cant refuse.
Why bitch about it? Let people try and sell things for what ever they want. Who cares if it's way over priced. It's not like you have to buy it.

Yeah I suppose bitching/flaming stuff like that is pointless, but $11k for a $3k-$4k car is just too rediculous.

I have noticed this overpricing in cars for a long time now, but what overpricing of a car really bugged me and still does is the Supra. I've seen the mkIV go for damn near $50,000 and it's all because of the F&F movies. My dad bought his 94 twin turbo for around $16,000+ when it was almost still new.
