Ya I was there. Was a fun time... my first real attempt at showing my car in 2 years. Was disapointed.

But hey at least I now know what I'm lacking and have a fire up my ass about changing what I got deducted on.

Basically my main focus is going to be the exterior cause that's mostly what people see/care about.

I don't know how many FNF Fallowers said I'm running PVC piping for intercooler pipe.

I just had to say are you serious to each of them. Then combine that with some guys reading my turbo off my mod list and with out seeing they'd say oh that's not that big it's barely larger then stock. I almost rolled over laughing.

I was suprised to hear what people thought was cool or that stood out.

My painted interior got quite a lot of attention I don't know what it is but it's was everyones first instict to touch it.

I was like what they hell do they think it's scratch and sniff or something?

Yeah, about that...

Uhm, my bad :stick:

That was pretty funny though, everyone touched it that looked at it. It just compels you to touch. It's hypnotic or something...

It's no big deal actually - the PPG paint on there is the best paint I've used so far. and holds up quite well to abuse.

Also for those that heard about the tire issues I was having and the problems Tires Plus was giving me.

Well yesterday I took in there 2nd replaced tire that went flat on the way home from Autovations. And while we were discussing the problem at hand the guy hit the Valve Stem when he was checking the tire and air started coming out.

Turns out the Valve stem holds air when in the straight position. But when I get up to speed on the highway the cintrifical force bends the stem causing it to leak.

Which explains why both times the tire held air in the city streets but goes flat on the highway.

So the arguments of me having to pay for the last 2 tires, is now over. And they are going to be covering those 2 tires and now this 3rd one.

What kind of valve stem? I hope is a nice metal one or the really short stubby metal ones, thats what I have and they are realy nice. From my experience stay away from tures plus.

I got my new tires mounted at discount tire in bloomington (brand new store) and they did a great job.

Not metal but I'm thinking about asking for Metal Valve Stems this time around.

The other ones were the rubber (hense the bending at Highway speed)

I just had them order me a new Pirada Spec 2 so that it match's the rest of my tires. However they are on back order so it'll take a while for it to come in.

Hopefully it'll be before this weekend so I can go racing.
