How do you wire up the CAS on the 2g head on a 90. My 90 CAS goes to the intake cam on the battery side, but the 2g one isn't used there. Should I pul the blockoff there on the 2g head and put 1g cams in to use it the same way? What do you think?

The 1g has bad valves and the 2g was laying around. Just a winter beater. Not worried about the "power loss." I am pretty sure Nash has a 2g head on his 90.

No, I put a 1G head on a 2G, 99 GST. For me it was easy, just had to get the intake cam tapped for the CAS. I'm not sure about putting a 2G head on a 1G.

Use the same Cam sensor from your 1G.

Unbolt the 2G cam sensor fin-thing from the 2G cam and install the 1G sensor to the head.......cake.

You have to use the 1G sensor because the 2G sensor only gives out cam signal and that is not enough to run the car.

97-98s Have the sensor in the EXACT same spot as a 1G.

I dunno about a 95-97 head though.

You will have to bore out the head bolt holes in the 2G head to fit the thicker 1G head bolts.

Other than that; the 2G cams suck, the stock 2G intake runners suck.

Goat Blower just did this last week for a temporary fix on his 1G.

So if I knock out the seal on the intake side of the cam, is there going to be a groove in it to mount a CAS? Looks like it would bolt up on the side of the head. The head is off a 95.

Sorry Nash, I thought that is why you had to jump on the head to get it to fit. I had this one drilled out.

I did that because I have a 7bolt 1G head.

95-96 knock out the plug, cam has the groove for the 1g cam sensor. I just wired mine up on my 95 and it works good.

Yeah, that is what I had to do.
