Questions for people doing DataLogging ??

What do you have for a setup? Softare/ what palmpilot ?


Anyone running a PC Based Software ?

There is a free software you can download. One is called TunerStein I believe and the other is called MMCD I believe. All you need is the wire that runs from the serial port on your PC and some sort of sync software to install the program onto a PDA. Once on the PDA double click it.

You will also need the logger cable for your car's diagnostic port.

i just picked me up an m100 for 10 bux shipped! I'm going as cheap as possible. Prolly gunna run that freeware stuff.

I ran the PocketLogger software on a Palm M105. I tried out that freeware stuff just to see what it was like and it sucked. It was always crashing and locking my Palm up, and even when it didn't it wouldn't work quite right ever. The PocketLogger software was great, very stable and lots of nice little features.

I tried both of those shitty freeware programs and went right back to the PocketLogger software from Digital Tuning since it actually worked.
