I have to admit, I am going to try and remember to tune in channel 9 tonight at 9PM for the first time in a long time.

I'm curious to see how the follow up story goes, they interviewed the mndragways people. Hope it helps get a track built but I doubt it.

I told some poeple about it here at work. Hopefully if we generate enough ratings the News Company will continue to run story's.

Maybe it'll happen I have my fingers crossed.

Tcstangs just doesn't seem like the right group to represent everyone if you know what i mean. 90% of them just seem arrogant and feel they are better then the whole street scene itself. but hey i dont want to stereo type the entire group of tcstang guys just from a few occourances that i have been around. I hope everything that went down went well.

I agree..

What did you guys think of the followup? It attended to our issues, but didn't really tell us anything new. At least "we" got a word in this time.

anone able to put that report up online by chance? I'm interested in seeing it. I been watchin that MNDragways site and damn, its so nice to see that they finally got a spot locked on. I wonder how long it'll take until they are up and operational. What did those guys say cuz I heard they were gunna be on the report as well.

Tyler is a pimp! Nice quotes, love how the media plays just the bit they need to convey their message. Overall it wasn't bad, I thought it was a lot better then sunday nights bit.

Some of the MNDragway guys jumped all over me a couple of years ago while I was working at the SCCA booth at the Minneapolis Auto show. They tried to make me personally responcable for the SCCA not helping them build a dragway within a half hour of the cities. I doubt they where any kind of higher up in it, but they where idiots and didn't say a thing to the guys from Brainard that where across from us. I wish them the best of luck, but they have been saying the same thing for quite a while. Zoning and neighborhood issues are a B#####.

P.S. The SCCA has never and will never have any associatin with drag racing, they just didn't get it.

Yeah, MNDragways has been stumped by the zoning before with a secured site. I would say the zoning is 80% of the problem, so I wouldn't start holding my breath yet.

exactly - they continually keep saying we have a spot, etc. But the State continious to shoot them down.

Hense why I really wish that subject had been address at the interview.
