View Full Version : Dvd Burner
Anone seen any good burners for a good price. I wanna be able to put some DVDs out of all the video myself, and fellow members have taken of the Rally events, Drag racing, and everything else this year. I don't think it will be anything soon, but Woudln't it be nice to have everything on a DVD to watch. I just ordered one from a guy who did a few rally events this past year and I know Erik D got that one as well.
If I remember, I will ask my friend what kind he has. It takes him a while to copy dvds though
Option 1 I am looking at (http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pna/product/detail/0,,2076_4141_17568931,00.html)
Option 2 I am looking at (http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pna/product/detail/0,,2076_4139_22912926,00.html)
So as you can see when I get one, It won't be the standard $199 regular recorder. I am looking for Tivo as well so I can also put shit from TV on DVD, like the Rally events Speed TV does.
Of course, this is not anytime soon.....
Although Tivo would be pretty sweet to have.... :D

Well I work at circuit city and we have quite a few options cheaper than that pioneer that would work well for you. None with Tivo built in, but Tivo itself can be had for $99 plus $5 a month for the service assuming you have DirecTV...Then you just connect to the back and record away...
As far as recorders we have panasonic, phillips, and sony...All of which are under $700 and the panasonic model does have the built in hard disk drive, I believe that model is $450?
Let me know if you have any other questions....
