The 300ZX TT can easily make in the 340-370whp range with the basic boltons and stock turbos. Past that they get very expensive and hard to work on, but if that is enough power for you then that might be a good choice since they can be had for a reasonable price. They aren't a good drag racing or racing from a stoplight car though, they can't hook up worth a crap with their suspension setups in the rear. They aren't to bad on the highway and road race courses though. Don't buy one blindly over ebay without looking at and driving the car. A lot of them are beat to hell with blown turbos or just look like crap from anywhere closer than 20 feet.

Well bid on the 300ZX now, or go find yourself a clean 1g for around 3 grand, and 4 grand should be enough to run a solid 13.

I also know someone with a 3G you can have out right should you assume a loan.. :stick:
Are you on crack??

On pump gas I ran a 13.6@99 in my 1g with $400 worth of mods. $4k into a 1g should put you in the mid 12's on race gas.

I say you buy a 97 Grand Prix SE. It has some power and has lots of mod options. In fact i have one sitting in my driveway for sale! ;)

I went 13.0@104 with $80 in mods.
But my car cost me $9800.
Both of my dsms had squat in mods and had potential to do 12's if I fixed problems on them.

i've put probably right around 1250 bux in my talon, and the thing is finally probably running about the same as a normal stock one.

mazda 323 GTX, older mazda Mx-6 GT/626 GT/Probe GT, older SVO turbo mustang, mk3 poopra, in my opinion they are all of lower build quality than a dsm, but they are different.
