Mine has a Hooker Maximum Flow muffler with 4" chrome tip. I want to sell mine so we can talk if it fits your car. I can bring it with to All-You-Can-Eat-Hotdog-Fest.

Do you like the exhaust note of the Hooker mufflers Chris? I really liked the sound of mine. It had a nice mellow tone to it rather than being real raspy like others on the market. Mine is a Hooker Super Competition with Aero Chamber.

The Maximum Flow sounds really nice. It has a very deep throaty tone to it, but none of the raspy sharp notes of some mufflers. Rick Shindley even once said it was his favorite sounding DSM exhaust.

Hooker muffler sound like tractors at idle and it doesnt sound that great. its like put put put. It is quieter though than alot of other mufflers while still offering flow.

Obviously he has never had one on his car for any amount of time. I could see it making a put-put noise if you idle is fluttering but not when it's running correctly.

Like Chris said, it has a deep, throaty sound to it. If I wasn't creeping so bad with it was on my car, I would still have it on there. Once I upgrade my wastegate flapper and port the exhaust and O2 housings, it will probably go back on.

But that won't be for a little while. At least until I upgrade my turbo and injectors

Yea I have no problem with it and I might even switch to one if I replace my loud dynomax. The dynomax sounds nice but its noisy. Id switch to the hooker muffler because it is much quieter.

Yeah, if both of you can bring them down to the DynoFest that would be great. I would like to take a look at both of them and make a decision. Thanks a lot guys!
