Started On The Stingray...

Well, spent 8 hrs in the sunny driveway today.. You can call me lobster boy...

Anyways.... washed waxed the Dakota and Vette.
Drained the gas out of the vette, put 5 gals of fresh NOT 2 year old gas in, started her right up. It wants to backfire out of the carb upon startup only ( timing too advanced?) other then that it idles fine and sounds bad ass.
Got a few minor things I need to take care of before I sell it.
Fix a leaky caliper, squeeky belt, find the coolant overflow bottle, etc etc...

I sure want to take it for a run.. man i miss this car.

How come you're going to sell it? I bet if you went to the Summer Nat's last weekend you would have changed your mind! I got the Catalina all washed and waxed and added a ton of things to it last week just in preparation for the show. Even though it's tough to beat technology, muscle cars can't be beaten for general performance and looks!

Well, I just have toooooo many vehicles right now, 2 neons, dakota and vette, wouldnt mind having a bike either.
If I had a huge shop id prolly let it sit till I had time to go crazy with it a frame off custom re build. But I dont, I have ALOT of money into it, and have not driven it in almost 3 years. I have close to 6k$ in reciepts for the car, the wheels and tires were $2k and have less then 1000 miles on them!!

Once I got the lil things taken care of, if I really felt the need to sell it, id consider letting her slide for $6999.
