I have seen products that say they can restore psi in the cylinders and I was wondering if anyone had used them and wanted to know if they are a joke. Thanks

if they worked, the engine rebuilders would be out of a job

There is no "patch" for a worn or damaged engine.

I've used it in a couple off my beaters.
It does help temperarely fill small scores in the cylinder walls and helps old valve seals. Unfortunatly it won't unbend your valves ;)

Engine restore cures lifter tick until it's time for your next oil change. worth the few bucks every 3000 mi to cover up a design flaw I can't afford to fix, imo.

So does sawdust, but I wouldn't use that either. If you do feel the need to try additives, Lucas is about the only company I would trust for any of it. Definately isn't going to provide any cure in the correct use of the word.
