Yeahhhhhhhhhh boyyyyyyyyy, I just won backstage passes and tickets sitting at the soundboard for tomorrow's concert. I'm sure I'll feel a little silly being 2-3 times as old as the other show goers, but damn if I ain't going to rock my ass off. :jammin: :jammin:
:toast: Amy Lee isn't hot in a hot way, but she does have some pretty kickass vocals which make her hot.

Exactly. Rocker chicks are usually cool. But I'm really going to miss the original guitarist who left the band last October. I probably won't even say hi to the new guitarists unless they come up with the same tone the CD was recorded with. And I'm tempted to bring my bass, just in case the bassist has an accident or something. :bounce:

Hmmm, ya pretty sure I met with Amy and the rest of the band at the SCSU show in St.Cloud. We did a *meet & greet* with the band and brought some of the listeners in to meet with them and take pictures. She is good looking, but not hot by all means.

Anyway, it wasn't a bad show and hopefully you guys that went Wednesday had a good time.

BTW, I work for Rockin' 101.7 out of the St.Cloud area. And we gave tickets away for the show as well, I didnt' feel like going. :razz2:

How the hell can you be "pretty sure"?? :headache:

It was a good concert. Breaking Benjamin was decent, Three Days Grace was pretty good, Seether was awesome! They sounded great and rocked the place.

Amy Lee sure does have a voice on her. Kinda weird with a chick singing with more of a contemporary voice, but with a heavy metal band. Also, this is the first time I have seen a baby grand piano used in a heavy metal concert!

I haven't listened to them at all besides what has been on the radio. They were very good, but I just couldn't quite get into it. The band was excellent and she had a superb voice, I just wasn't crazy about mixing the 2. Her voice did give me goosebumps a couple of times though, she is very dynamic.

The concert was awesome, although we didn't get to meet Evanescence. We got there about 20 minutes late due to traffic and missed the meet and greet. I did get an autographed CD though.

We sat in the sound booth, which were perfect seats for viewing and sound. Plus their sound guy was real cool and kept a cold beer in our hands for most of the concert.

I had a different view of the bands than Jet. I loved Breaking Benjamin, kinda liked 3 Days Grace and hated Seether. I was so bored during Seether, I was playing solitaire on my phone. Evanescence was better than I expected, and I've had their CD since it first came out, plus have all their other older tunes on my computer at home. Here's a pic from where we were sitting.

THat concert fucking kicked ass! Evanescence was unbelievable, Breaking Benjamin was pretty Good. Three Days Grace kicked, and Seether was okay, but broken was their best. Looking at that picture, were you anywhere near that dude with the flashing hat? He kept catching my eye during the concert....
