I live in washington so getting the car back would be no problem. Does anyone know what the tick in the engine could be? Well I would like opinions since I am new to the scene.

These cars get spendy if you start modding them.
Go out and check it out in person before you place any bids on it.
He says it has a small dent in the back but you would have to take the center taillight section out to see what damage is underneath. The center section is pushed in quite a bit on that one side. I would not be surprised if the center section is not the original. I think you would have to do a very thorough inspection of it to make sure you don't get something that is more than what you bargain for. Obviously it has had a few minor modifications that may have been taken off. If so, you would have to make sure that things were reinstalled properly. For under $1000 it would be a good buy if you realize that there will be some work needed to be put into it down the road. You would have to be ready for unexpected things to come up out of the blue as well. The car has high miles on it and he doesn't give a specific mileage of when the rebuild took place.
Also, I don't tend to believe a person when they say that they change their oil EVERY 2000 miles. That's the biggest bullshit line that people use when trying to sell a car.
Be careful and know what you are getting into before you make a commitment to pay for anything.

Make sure to set aside a couple hundred to fix things no one else has, exhaust manifold, ECU, ect.
Is it me, or is it just odd to sell a car and not iclude a pic of the engine? hmmmm

IMO I wouldnt pick up that one. The body doesnt look very good and you can find something in better condition then that for a little more money. With lower miles also. If I were looking I would keep searching
my 2 cents
