it happens all the time, i agree... i remeber the first time people were just staring at these 2 cars that got in a bumper to bumper accident, thus everybody had to stare at them and then speed up after away, i was like 'wtf?' i believe that gawkers are alot differnt then the people that are just trying to becareful, i also can recall a car flipping upside down a couple of cars ahead of me on 694and the people that slow down for that were just being careful and cautious not to cause anymore damage, other then that, the gawkers just took pictures

I just ran into the same damn thing on the way to work today. It was in the road construction area, so there are concrete dividers between the lanes. A van on the other side of the road flipped over on the east bound side. The damn west bound lane was backed up for miles! There was no reason for anyone to be slowed down, the accident was on the other side of the divider and 2 lanes over. Morons!! :fworld:

Not to be a dick or anything, but... I love living 4 miles from work. :D 10 minute commute (15 if I don't hit the lights just right.)

It sucks when I'm trying to get somewhere on the freeway, and things like that happen though.

One time I had a flat tire on 494 durring the morning commute. It was about 7:00 or so. Traffic was moving pretty good. I drove an extra hundred feet or so to get to a place where I would be well of the road. In the time it took me to change my tire (10 - 15 minutes) traffic was almost at a stand still behind me, yet still moving pretty decent in front of me. I felt bad for holding up traffic like that, but what could I do? I had a flat tire. I was at least 5 feet from the edge of the road (right side of the road) and it was my right rear tire that was flat. ? ? ?
