Aaron's BMW looks awesome!
I've driven a few RWD car through the winter, granted I had snow tires but they did better than FWD cars with all seasons.

Fucking awesome, bmws traction control is very nice it never let's the car get unbalanced.
Add snow tires and it's way better. I've had no issues with any of my previous rwd in the winter here. (330i, 4 cyl ranger, tahoe)
What kind of tires does it have on it right now?

another +1 for snow tires and RWD being awesome in the winter.
Both my vehicles are RWD. I have all seasons on my s10 and they do fine in the winter. Unfortunately, my open diff does not.
With that said, I'm sure the 5 series has more weight and a lsd of some sort and would perform just fine in the winter.

I'd consider turbotalons BMW I suppose after checking what insurance would be.

I have continental all seasons, but I have a set of 18" wheels with snow tires on them too that I could throw in for extra, they are practically new.

5-series BMW's are good in the winter, but only with good snow tires. All seasons don't cut it.
