You guys are both assuming people actually pay for mods. I think the majority of guys who go mod-crazy do it with credit and/or financing.
Huh? Cash?
What does this have to do with the discussion? How did you come up with that? Paying for mods with cash? How did you come to that assumption? Because if I had to spend 10k, I'd do it with credit than cash. Put in on my AmEx. I'm not a 19 year old dipshit who would blow 9k cash on a 1G shell with 180k miles and another 12k cash in mods to run slow 12s (and then blows it up).
Who the hell (other than the very, very rich who probably don't own Mustangs) pays with cash? My car is credit, my house is, most of my purchases are on credit. Stupid assumption.
Think harder next time, please. Cash versus credit has absolutely nothing to do with this discussion.

The marketing wasn't so much an issue, as we did our fair share on social media and modern media outlets, it just was fairly expensive for the relative car. The reason our Ecoboost Mustang sales are so high, is the room left in the budget for modifying. I have shared this kit on every imaginable page, group, site, medium, and frankly it comes down to the fact that this isn't an S550 friendly kit which I've gotten requests for. The S197 guys for whatever reason are not inclined to turbocharge or have the budget for it. Hard to say why as that's not a community I'm very tied to, but hopefully this finds a good home and for a good deal!
Regards
Adam
You did your homework, sounds like it. Pushed messages to those that are in your target market. Maybe the kit was just a little too rich for the targeted market. Not all sales are going to be knocking it out of the park.
Good luck with the next one! *cheers*

Thank you! I appreciate it greatly. We have not always batted 1000 with kits and their markets but then again the ones we did target well, hit the spot and we're grateful for that.

Neither was the Lone Ranger, but, I actually do have some Cherokee blood in me, just not enough for cashino payout checks ;)
