So im not sure how many star wars buffs we have here but i want to pose a theory we are talking about at work here.
If you havent watched the trailers you should do so here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sGbxmsDFVnE
Now after you watch it and get all enamored by the cool special effects and stuff.
Put this theory in your head:
Luke Skywalker joins the dark side.
Now watch it again.
I believe Luke may end up becoming the guy in the black mask.
Think about this: IMDB has Mark Hamill as Luke. but if you look at the movie poster Luke is a main character and a big one (on the poster he has second billing after harrison ford), however he is missing from poster itself (everyone is there except for hamill) which leads me to believe that he is the black mask (new vader).
BOOM.... MIND... BLOWN

Interesting theory, but I don't think that would happen. It would pay a huge disservice to the original movies. They also have done the light turns to dark side with Annakin/Vader.
What I want to know is why is there a black stormtrooper... did they stop using clones and start training kids at a young age?

While yes people would see this as somewhat of a disservice, it could be that he joined the Republic to try and change it and unite the rebels with the empire, to take his fathers place but to unite instead of separate. However where this falls flat is that you see the jedi fighting him.
The plot is being kept really under cover, but the signs seem to point to Luke being the guy in the black mask. Its just a matter of how he got there.

theres two theories about the storm trooper and being black that im sure will come to light. First of all the character is a Jedi, which we know to be true because he uses a light saber a jedis weapon.
My theory on this is that he was in disguise (much like luke did), or something along those lines.
I am thinking they are going to make him the descendant of Samual L Jacksons character when he was the leader of the jedi counsel. and the girl character i believe will end up being the child of Hans and Leah.

All I know is I'll be seeing it on opening night with my son, just like I did with my dad when the original came out in 1977. Passing the nerd torch as they say.

Now the real question:
Do i see it in IMAX 3d or Regular Screen. I wish they had it in Imax NON 3d. Would be really cool if they had it in OMNI Theater

WOW! 1977 seems so long ago but when you do the math, not really. Kudos to passing the torch.
