Is the inside and engine bay as clean as the outside? Why was it going to get junked? What was the reason?

The engine bay is meh but not bad in any way. Just nothing shiny there. The car had a failed water pump which shredded the timing belt and bent the valves. I replaced the head gasket, valves, water pump, and timing belt, and more and so I purchased it not running and got it going. Special Mitsustyle pricing available :)
