Looks like Cruz isn't fitting in well with the group. I bet it's one of those empty chamber CSPAN grandstand speeches.

With Trump bashing Bush, Perry, Graham and friends, and Cruz on the outs and bashing the mainstream Senators, the Republican party appears to be dividing against itself.

Not sure about the chamber being empty or not, but it's the message that matters,..... Not sure why that's funny to you? Do you not care that what he said was 100% true? Did you watch all of it?

If more people like Trump and Cruz would stand their ground, you'd see a much different animal in Washington.

I don't know what transpired between McConnell and Cruz. It may be that Cruz was in the right, it may also be that he's being shut out for some transgression also. There's no possible way to know for sure what's going on behind the scenes.

Who said that it was 100% true? He did say that voters showed up in huge numbers in the 2014 election that gave the senate a republican majority. In truth, that election had the smallest turnout of any election in 70 years. Mid term elections don't necessarily mean much. The 2016 election will tell if Republicans get any type of mandate.

The empty chamber speeches are funny to me because nobody that he's calling out is there to hear it. It's all for media attention and posturing for the presidential run.

Trump gave up Lindsey Graham's phone number. He's unprofessional and undiplomatic and has no business running a country. Cruz is an idealist which never pans out either.

See, there's the problem. You're more caught up in the "messenger" than what the message is. Did you watch all of it? I'll guess probably not.

What he's pointing to is the outright lies made by the Republican leader to get the Republican votes to fund the IN/EX Bank again. He's 100% right that we control both houses and yet it still looks like the Dems are in charge.

You are completely missing the point of why Trump's surging in the polls. Do you really think Trump is where he is today because he's "unprofessional and undiplomatic"? The man handles huge business deals with some of the most wealthy, privileged and influential people on the planet. And business is what makes this country work for everybody, not some left wing ideology.

If rand paul doesnt have a shot, trumps my 2nd choice. I've had enough of the democratic and republican parties they've both destroyed this country. And its time someone who isn't a politician to get into office.

I loved having Ventura in office - first time I ever got a tax refund. And he definetely spoke his mind over playing it safe in fear of loosing votes.

And to me that's what I see in trump. He could care less about politically correct crap. Calls it as he sees it. And we all know he can definetely figure out ways to make money. And since obama absolutely sky rocketed out national debt. Trump hopefully should be able to do something about it.

Trumps' corporation has filed bankruptcy four times. I recall years ago after one of them on Letterman... He said he got back on his feet through multi-level marketing. Multiple bankruptcies is a pretty good indication that he makes high risk bets.

He had a millionaire father to get him started as well as assist him through his struggles.

I guess if you call multiple bankruptcies and a rich daddy success, Trump is the man.

I guess Trump already understands what it means to get a bailout. As president he can use his experience to offer all businesses bailouts if they fail. Trump = same shit, different day.

I decided to give you the benefit of the doubt and watch the whole thing. I absolutely cringe at the outright hypocrisy of Cruz. He uses corporate cronyism as his excuse all the while he is MARRIED TO A MANAGING DIRECTOR OF GOLDMAN SACHS! His wife was a Vice President there during the crash and during their $10 BILLION BAILOUT.

He's part of what he's calling a problem. Who the fuck knows if the import/export bank is bad, I sure don't. Maybe it is, maybe it's not. I would bet though that getting rid of it would benefit Goldman Sachs.

You do realize that dems are still in control, right? Do you know why? It's because Obama can veto any bill that comes in front of him. If Congress truly want to pass a bill, they have to make sure it's one he'll sign. A veto override requires each chamber to vote again and 2/3rd's need to be in favor for it to pass.

And that is why I cant stand "parties" people need to vote there conscience and not be tied down to what there party wants to do. Im sure some do vote that way. But I for sure dont trust the majority to do the right thing, but only to do what's in there own interest.
