Hmm, It must bog down at some point then. Usually I start the transfer before I go to bed. When I wake up, it's not always finished. Weird.

So another update though. I unplugged the Belkin from the downstairs bedroom and moved it upstairs. Doing so however hosed something up. Like Andrew, it seemed like for whatever reason it wasn't playing nicely having it on the same SSID as the wifi modem. I tinkered around and ended up just giving it a different SSID for the upstairs for now. Weird because it was working fine the night before. Should I be selecting it as an "access-point" when trying to put it on the same SSID?

Yeah, 25Mbps isn't terrible. I do a lot of copying of large movie files from one machine to another. I have CAT6 ran through out my house. I can get between 90-100Mbps. And that is what I also get when copying from one hard drive to another on the same computer. So my limiting factor is the computer's hardware.

It should be an access point, yes. Otherwise if you have 2 routers you would have to make 2 different subnets or they would not work together.

That's probably my issue Peter. I'll try that this weekend, thanks.
