it's the dead of winter, a spyder is certainly a seller's market, and it is a nice car from what it seems. So, in short, your buddy needs to be realistic.

thats a great deal on a spyder. buy a bad awd and swap it. If I wanted a 2nd spyder I would be out there to bring it home. but as it is mine is for sale also since I would like to get Aly a vw wagon and put the evo 3 back together
