Are they planning to trade in their 335s? I looked at an ILX, was nice but only has 150hp, so weak. Turbo maybe 220? They need to make them awd.

"He hopes, however, that a turbo engine would help to re-engage the tuners lost to other brands during the last decade or so. “Younger people that I know, that are into that kind of world, they would have been the guys who had fixed-up Civics. And now [they] buy used BMW turbos and they get chips and they get all this power out of them. The tuner has now become more of a programmer instead of a mechanic, and so I’m curious if in the future we’ll reignite [that flame] in a new way."

I just found it interesting that Honda/Acura is aware they've lost quite a bit of business from the tuners, and those buyers are now getting used BMW's and modding them instead...which reminded me of a few guys on here.

If those had been out 5 years ago, and They were used when i was looking for a 335, I would have wanted to drive one....but at this point meh. Other options i like better :)

It is amazing how badly Honda has bombed out of the tuner market in last few years. They used to be the "it" car to have and mod.

I won't be going back to a 4 cylinder. That is the main reason I went with the 335. I am sure the next one will be an even bigger engine with boost. Even the 3l is big enough so that it is ok to daily if you are out of boost. GTR is probably my next car, but that won't be for quite a few years and might change by then. Still more modding to do on this one before I am content :D
